Hello everyone, I'm here today to share some of my favorite shots from a family portrait session a couple weeks ago. Actually, the main idea was to get some newborn shots of baby Miles, but the morning light was super pretty and we ended up being able to get a good amount of family pictures as well! Also, this is the only newborn shoot I've been on where the better part of the hour was NOT filled with unhappy baby tears. I FEEL SO VALIDATED YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. (No, I don't take it personally when babies cry during photoshoots, but I'm already such an awkward person and newborns are so small and new and wonderful that I'm truly afraid to even hold them. So when they cry, I just panic internally and literally don't know what to do. I'm going to be a fantastic mom someday. #realtalk) SO thank you Miles for being a happy champ, and thank you to the rest of the Gillenwater family for being fantastic to work with as well. Also, the jar of pepper jelly you gave me at the end of the shoot was so odd and amazing and it's nearly empty due to the fact that I eat too many quesadillas.
